Fleur Fritz, PhD (I-Solutions Mannheim, Germany)

Dr. Fleur Fritz-Kebede graduated from Information Engineering and Management at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany in 2005 after which she started her professional career as a Healthcare Consultant at Agfa Healthcare GmbH in Bonn, Germany. She was involved in the internationalization of Germanys largest health information system and consequently worked as a Team Lead to implement health IT projects in hospitals within Europe and America. From 2009 until 2012 she did her PhD in medical sciences at the University of Münster, Germany with the topic „Qualitative and quantitative evaluation of EHR-integrated mobile patient questionnaires regarding usability and cost-efficiency“. During her Postdoc she worked as a research group leader and was mainly involved in a European consortium to work on reusing electronic health record data for pharmaceutical research. She was also founder and chair of the project group global health informatics of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) and went twice to the University of Gondar, Ethiopia to work as a short-term lecturer in the field of Health IT Project Management as well as curriculum evaluation. Since mid 2015 she works as a Consulting Team Lead at i-Solutions Health GmbH in Bochum, being involved in the implementation of electronic patient records within German hospitals.

Dr. Fritz-Kebede is member of the editorial board of the GMDS-Journal German Medical Sciences Medical Informatics, Biometry, and Epidemiology.
